Review: La Aroma De Cuba Robusto

La Aroma de Cuba Robusto first third

The La Aroma de Cuba Robusto is in the full-bodied category with loads of thick smoke. Size is Robusto (5.2 x 52)

These are tasty little treats and Ashton made the right decision when they chose Jose Pepin Garcia to blend this cigar for them.

First Third

The initial draw was effortless and just perfect. I tasted strong hints of cream and sweet chocolate all throughout the entire first third. The aroma of sweetness — and that undeniable broadleaf aroma — was also pleasant.

This is one of those sticks that would definitely warrant a long draw for passerby. It smells damn good.

Second Third

The second third of this robusto transitioned from chocolate to a cedar and pepper flavor. The draw remained magnificent.

The ash stayed a consistent gray and white throughout the first half of this cigar.

Final Third

La Aroma de Cuba final thirdAs I dive into the last third of my La Aroma De Cuba Robusto my palate was teased with dark coffee but I could still taste the creaminess until the very end.

This cigar is full bodied. In fact, I appreciate the bold, full-bodied experience especially since it’s not overly harsh.

Final Thoughts

This is yet another great smoke produced by the My Father Cigar Factory in Nicaragua, one that happens to be a staple in my humidor. Hopefully, you enjoy it enough to make it a staple in yours as well.

As always, stay lit my friends
