Charge PD Series: Check out Biolite’s new power packs

These truly versatile portable power packs are excellent for travel, camping, overlanding, backpacking, and so much more.

Portable power packs are quite common these days, with the selection ranging from generic, relatively new brands to seasoned vets in the market. They pretty much all do the same things, allowing you to charge your devices on-the-go, like your phone, tablet, or laptop. Biolite has launched three new devices, as part of its Charge-PD series, all of which aim to provide fast, flexible charging for the “next generation of electronic devices.”

Each pack has a USB-C port — standard these days for most devices — to deliver efficient charging up to 18 watts. That’s enough juice to power phones, camera batteries, mobile devices, game consoles, and even 13-inch laptops. Anything you’d need to charge when you can’t get to an outlet should be covered. The Charge 20, with a 6,000mAh capacity, is the base model. Then there’s the Charge 40, with 10,000mAh, and the Charge 80, with 20,000mAh. All of them are FAA-compliant, so you can bring them on your next flight. You can also toss them in your RV, van, or vehicle for your next road trip, and they won’t take up much space. You can charge all the power packs traditionally, by plugging them into an outlet, or you can grab Biolite’s solar panels to create a sustainable, renewable power option!

Who’s it for?

Want to charge your devices on the go without worrying where the next outlet is? There you go! The Charge-PD packs are an excellent choice, and pairing them up with Biolite’s SolarPanels means you can recharge using natural sunlight.
