With Roku included, you don’t need extra devices to start streaming your favorite shows and movies. It’s perfect for an outdoor movie night with the family!
HD projectors are quite versatile in that they can be used to display a quality image on almost any surface. From a dedicated screen to a comparable and empty wall, you can create the perfect movie theater just about anywhere. Most HD projectors include HDMI ports and options to plug in additional devices. That way, you can stream from your favorite apps and services. However, Vankyo has taken that idea a step further and integrated the Roku platform into its latest projector, the Leisure 470. It’s an HD 720P wireless mini projector, supporting a native resolution of 1280 by 720 up to 1920 by 1080 (1080P supported). You can project a screen size up to 90 inches, with an optimal projection distance of 9.84 feet.
It has WiFi built-in and USB, VGA, and HDMI video inputs so it will work with a wide range of entertainment devices. It even works with game consoles and beyond. Integrated Hi-Fi stereo speakers give you enough audio to listen in, so you don’t have to lug surround speakers with you into the backyard if that’s where you choose to watch. The projector does need to be plugged into a power source, though. You can fix that if you want to go portable by using a portable power station or backup battery generator. That would allow you to watch movies out in the wild, like at a campsite or while off-roading during a trip. At the very least, you can set it up at home. You don’t need to plug in additional equipment to access streaming services either thanks to the Roku Express that’s included with it.
