I know what you’re thinking, and I feel the same way. Why does everything on the planet have to have a subscription these days? Why is every company in existence trying to squeeze more money out of everyone, like a helpless swaddle of sponges? I tend to agree, but Bruvi’s latest subscription model is pretty enticing, I have to admit. The Bruvi coffee brewer, which takes B-pods, is usually $338, which is pretty steep, even compared to a brand like Keurig. But the company just rolled out a unique subscription bundle that drops the price of the brewer to $189 — saving you $149 upfront — as long as you purchase 12 boxes over the next 12 months.
Those 12 boxes you have to purchase are also 15% off for every box, so you’re saving there, too. You buy the Bruvi brewer and three boxes of B-pods, with auto delivery enabled, and you get your discount. The boxes come in pre-chosen bundles, like dark roast favorites or popular picks, but also you can choose your own custom boxes, too. So, for the Bruvi brewer and my three picks, with The Original, French Roast, and Happy Camper boxes, the total is about $253. That saves me $162 altogether on the brewer and the boxes. There are a lot of numbers, but the gist is you save on the coffee maker, the pods, and future pods you order, as well. The coffee is delicious.
Why spring for the Bruvi brewer and pod subscription?

Let’s talk a bit about that pod brewer, shall we? It can make seven different beverages, including cold brews, espressos — Sabrina Carpenter would be proud — matcha, coffee, and more. It does this using special super premium pods, like the ones you’re used to in comparable systems, only these are partner-made. LAMILL, Bulletproof, Equator and Joe Coffee are just a few of the big names that bring their delicious roasts to a single-serve format for use with Bruvi machines.
Comparatively, those premium pods also hold 40% more coffee, so your brews are darker, when you want them to be, more concentrated and full of a hell of a lot more flavor. Personally, I’m always selecting the “strong” or “dark” options when I use brewers of any kind, so it’s nice knowing they come with more coffee beans already.
Anyway, this new subscription model, gets you the brewer for much less than the normal cost, plus you save on boxes of premium pods. Since you’d likely be buying more boxes later, as it is, if you’re drinking the coffee, it’s not a bad deal. The Bruvi brewer drops to $189, instead of $338, and you can grab either the sleek all-black model or the cream and sugar style — same price.
