The Kenyon City Grill, as the name implies, is an electric grill for small living spaces, like small kitchens, apartments, or areas where open flame is prohibited.
I love my four-burner Blackstone, but that thing is an absolute beast. I’m fortunate that I live in a home with a patio and enough space to use a grill. Not everyone is. If you live in an apartment, condo, rental or small living space, you may not have room for a grill and smoky cookers. At least, that used to be the case before Kenyon. The City Grill from Kenyon is a hassle-free smokeless grill for use in the kitchen or balcony — places where open flames are usually prohibited. It even comes with a 6-foot, 120-volt GFCI-protected plug so you can use it pretty much anywhere.
It’s an electric one-burner system with a ton of excellent features. Many features also naturally eliminate the hassle of using a grill and cleaning it when you’re all done. For example, the disposable drip tray that rests right underneath the cooking space. You can fill it with your favorite liquids or sauces to infuse your cooks. But also, it captures any drippings, and it’s easy to clean up when you’re all done. It works great whether you’re going for ultra-juicy-barbecue or smoky and dried meats. Carrying handles on the sides and a removable lid make the City Grill easy to lug around and secure or tuck away when not in use.
Why use a Kenyon City Grill?
The concealed 1,300-watt heating element rests underneath a grate, powered by electric rather than an open flame. Thus, the grill can be used in places where it’s typically not allowed, offering smoke-free cooking. Infuse food with any liquid like water, custom mixes or sauces by pouring them into the bottom drip tray. Everything drops in there during the cook, so it’s easier to clean when you’re done. Moreover, putting the removable grate and lid right in the dishwasher allows for a hands-free, no-hassle clean.
The no-stick grate makes it simple to cook meats like chicken or beef. For breakfast and other meals, you can swap in an interchangeable flat griddle. The burner heats up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, and there are eight different heat settings so you can find the perfect grill, bake, sear or burn. While the total cooking area is 155 square inches, the space is about 14.75 inches wide, giving you plenty of room to position different meats and veggies. It comes with a lid, of course, but you can also order an optional oval lid, like you’d see on banquet or catering sets. It weighs just 27 pounds, too, which is pretty light for a grill, if not downright portable.
It’s certainly not difficult to imagine using this electric grill and, if the pictures are any indication, you can make some absolutely delicious meals on it.

Who is it for?
Renters, city slickers or any small living space owners. If you live where there’s not enough room for a traditional grill, this electric grill is an excellent alternative, allowing you to cook indoors, in your small kitchen, out on a balcony, or a small patio. Even if you own a big house, if you don’t like the smoke and mess of a regular grill, check out the Kenyon City Grill.
