The Addvisor Plus is a secondary, independent visor for sun glare in your vehicle that attaches to the window and delivers two stage protection. It has an opaque tier and secondary polarized tier for low sun coverage, too.

Even with traditional car visors, sun glare can be a huge issue while driving. That glare might come from in front of you, the side, or other angles. You can put on a pair of glasses, but polarized or not, that may not exactly help either. Sun glare is responsible for about 9,000 accidents every year. Vision fatigue and hands-free phone positioning are additional concerns, though the latter is solved in separate ways. But to make driving safer in bright conditions, the Addvisor Plus is a secondary sun visor with a polarized and tinted element to give your eyes some extra cover. It offers two-directional sun protection and works independently of existing visors — it attaches to the windshield not the standard visor.

The regular visor pulls to the side, giving you protection there, meanwhile Addvisor covers the front with a two-tier polarized system that blocks against UVA and UVB. This also helps provide protection for shorter drivers who are sitting lower in their seats. The cover provided by a standard visor is not enough for everyone’s height. When you’re not using it, it stows out of the way, conveniently. It also won’t get in the way of visor-mounted accessories since you can still use the regular visor. Garage door openers, built-in buttons and other gear are still accessible.

Why the Addvisor Plus secondary sun visor versus extensions?

Typically, visor extensions attach to the existing visor. That has the disadvantage of creating a system that might easily fall off, might get in the way of other accessories and doesn’t offer the secondary use. You can only use that standard visor in a single configuration, extension or not. Addvisor is polarized, attaches to the windshield with secure 3M adhesive strips, and allows low-positioning, two-directional protection, and UVB and UVA coverage, plus the polarized tier like sunglasses.

The two tier system is unique. The top section is opaque, like the regular sun visor, while the bottom section is amber tinted and polarized. It blocks reflected glares effectively even when the sun is low. It’s super easy to setup and according to Smart Additions, the adhesive used won’t leave residue on the window but remains securely attached in various temperatures.

Addvisor also comes in two colors, dark or light, allowing you to match your vehicle’s interior.

Who is it for?
