Arcade belts, if you’ve never heard of them, are an excellent alternative to the traditional faux leather styles. They’re made of stretchy, flexible fabrics that are designed to move with you, not against you. It makes for a remarkably comfortable experience, and I would know. I reviewed the Arcade Momentum and still wear it all the time. It’s seriously one of the most comfortable belts I’ve ever owned. But back to the core topic, and why Arcade has teamed up with National Geographic. Belts. The partnership is to produce exclusive styles inspired by both visionary brands.

Normally, I don’t like to rehash marketing speak, but I think the tagline is honestly pretty damn good. “When you wear these belts, think of the countless inspirational stories told, and the adventures yet to be written.” There are three main styles, ranging from $43 to $45 with National Geographic branding and the signature Arcade belts designs — including the awesome easy-clip clasp (the A2 buckle).

What makes these Arcade x National Geographic belts so special?

Each belt offers Arcade’s signature styling and design, complete with that A2 buckle that’s ridiculously easy to close or open — meaning it’s easy to put on the belt and take it off. The fabric is made of Repreve recycled stretch webbing, which is repurposed polyester made through sustainable initiatives. It cuts down on waste and C02 emissions by reusing that material. But also, it’s durable, travel-friendly, and stretchy. The belt itself has no metal, so it can get through TSA checkpoints with no problems.

The limited edition National Geographic line has three distinct styles:

  • Rainforest Teal — A topographic-inspired pattern and vibrant color, evoking the lush landscapes of untamed jungles.
  • Secrets Black — A sleek, nearly all-black design with abstract sea-life motifs.
  • Classic Black — Timeless, clean, and versatile.

Because Arcade belts are made to last, even on your craziest adventures, they offer a lifetime guarantee. If something goes awry, they have you covered and that includes these National Geographic variants. All in all, it’s a really cool partnership, especially since Arcade performance belts are excellent for outdoor use. You can safely wear them while hiking, exploring, camping, trekking, you name it. Don’t worry, you can also wear them day-to-day like I do — no high-octane adventures here.
