The Capsule dishwasher from Loch Electronics is small enough to place on a counter, won’t take up much extra space, and helps you quickly and effectively clean up to 35 items at a time.
As a homeowner of a decently-sized single-family home, I find it’s easy to take for granted some of the things we’re afforded. One of those is extra space for belongings and gear. For example, our full size kitchen has plenty of room for appliances, like a refrigerator, dishwasher, plenty of cooking devices like an air fryer and toaster, and much more. That may seem standard, but if you’re living in a small space, including ADUs, dorm rooms, RVs, apartments, condos, and the like, you may not have the option to install or even use full size appliances. It helps to have some compact options, which the Capsule dishwasher from Loch Electronics qualifies as.
Capsule doesn’t require a faucet hookup for water, which allows it to be used in a variety of unique situations. It cleans, sanitizes, and dries up to 35 items per run in just 15 minutes. It achieves that while consuming only 0.7 gallons of water, though that’s on a quick cycle. You fill the water using a connected water tank, or you can hook it up with a plumbing hose, or install an add on waste water tank that offers full flexibility. The last option allows you to truly move Capsule anywhere as long as it has power. The extra water source options are separate add-ons so keep that in mind. There are ten programs to choose from for cleaning and the maximum washing temperature is 167 degrees Fahrenheit. Not that it’s necessarily a game-changer but the front control panel is also touch-based.
Why would you want a countertop dishwasher like Capsule?
Outside of using Capsule in unique situations, like in a van you’ve decked out to live in, or an RV, you could also use it in various places that you might not have initially expected. Think a backyard office or mancave, a detached in-law suite, or even a hotel if you’re always on the move. It weighs about 26.5 pounds so you don’t want to be lugging it around in a backpack. But if you toss it into a vehicle, trunk, or proper storage, you’re good to go.
According to Loch, Capsule can still accommodate large dishes and plates up to 12-inches in diameter, which would include frying pans, oven trays, small to medium cookie sheets, and a host of additional items. A built-in rinse aid dispenser helps you deal with hard water conditions easily, as well.
Basically, you get a dishwasher in situations where you wouldn’t normally be able to use one. That saves you from having to hand-wash items. It can also help you conserve water and energy in auxiliary rooms, like a mancave, separate bar, or suite.
