The Olight ArkPro series flashlights are multi-functional, with several sources of light, and come in a really unique flat and pocketable form factor while still managing to be tough and durable.
The controls are intentionally separate so you won’t activate any one function accidentally. For example, you won’t hit the laser when you’re trying to activate the spotlight. The white light has a rotary selector, the laser has a dedicated button, and the UV access is independent, as well. Meanwhile, there are two ways to charge the ArkPro lights, via USB-C or the magnetic MCC system which makes plugging in the aforementioned cable super easy. There’s even a lock mode to ensure nothing is engaged while in your pocket or a bag.
Why are there three multi-functional flashlights in the ArkPro series?
With three different options, you can choose your flavor of light. I know, that’s a bad way to put it, but basically it gives you the decision to pick whichever multi-functional flashlight model works for you. The three models are:
- ArkPro Lite: 1,200 Lumens white light, 1,000 mW UV light, 40 Lumens red light, 1,350mAh battery (10 days)
- ArkPro: 1,500 Lumens pure flood light, 10,640 candelas spotlight (205 meters), 1,200mW UV light, 3R/Class 1 green laser, 2,000mAh battery (14 days)
- ArkPro Ultra: 1,700 Lumens pure flood light, 10,640 candelas spotlight (205 meters), 1,200mW UV light, 3R/Class 1 green laser, 2,000mAh battery (14 days)
The ArkPro Lite is the cheapest model and does not include a spotlight, only a white light — but it’s plenty strong at 1,200 Lumens. Otherwise, the three different models incorporate pretty much the same features. The ArkPro and ArkPro Ultra both have bigger batteries which means better battery life overall.
Meanwhile, the ArkPro Ultra features Olight’s exclusive OAL super tough aluminum alloy material. It can’t be scratched, broken, or dented even after heavy use or wear. Plus, it features the ArkBeat RGB glowing symbol that changes color based on how long you use the flashlight. There are seven colors and a full cycle takes 254 hours to complete, and then you can set it to any of the colors you want. It’s a neat little touch.
