The Inkwon TAG is a lightweight, portable inkjet printer that can be used for a huge variety of projects. Print temporary tattoos, stickers, real photos, on paper, and even fabrics. The price ain’t too bad either.
It creates high-resolution prints at 600 DPI — that’s professional quality prints in a compact size. Meanwhile, the entire thing will fit easily in the palm of your hand. Full disclosure, TAG was featured on Kickstarter, but had a meager goal of just over $12,000. It has far surpassed that goal raising well over $389,000 with the first shipments expected to go out to backers sometime in August, 2026.
Presumably, paper bundles for each of the printing types will be available for you to stock up. Looking at prices on Inkwon’s official site they should be about what you’d expect for something like this. You get 60 prints per cartridge and all with a single charge. Moreover, the cartridges are easy to swap out thanks to a magnetic design. Just open the bay and snap in the new cartridge.
What exactly can a 4-in-1 portable printer like this do?
You can use it to print regular photos, stickers, other stationery, temporary tattoos, and various fabrics via heat transfer. According to the product description, it uses a single batch of ink cartridges, but then you swap out the paper types to match what you want to create. For example, special heat transfer paper is needed to print out fabric-related projects.
As for how you print content, you send photos from your phone to the device using a mobile app. It charges via USB Type-C and has a rechargeable lithium polymer battery (1,000mAh). It supports Android and iOS and connects via Bluetooth 5.4. You can also use the mobile app as a creative suite to edit photos, access AI creativity tools, explore fun templates, and more.
Why would you use this and where? Well, use your imagination it’s not hard to think up some scenarios. To create tattoos for cosplays and costumes at Halloween. You can make some crafts on-the-go for friends and family. Whip up fan badges at your favorite events. Print photos to share with everyone while on a trip. I’m merely scratching the surface here.

Anyone interested in printing on virtually anything, anywhere you go. Ultra creatives, cosplayers, crafters, handy-folks, you name it.
