Want a more compact workout bench you can tuck away or hide when you’re not pumping some iron? The Innodigym P1 Plus is exactly what you need. No, really.

Workout equipment, from workout benches to cable machines, can take up a lot of room in a home. If you don’t use it often it’s tough to justify keeping that equipment, which is why a lot of people go to the gym, besides the social aspects. Innodigym (pronounced in-odd-eh-gym) P1 Plus absolutely crushes that problem. It’s one of the most compact workout benches out there with the craziest ultra-thin design at 2.3 inches thick. The frame is made of aluminum alloy while the top surface is a rubber non-slip mat. You control it via a single smart button and there are four modes: Standard, Eccentric, Chain, and Speed.

When you’re ready to workout it can provide up to 198 pounds of adjustable digital strength. A wide variety of accessories can be attached or used with the floor piece to create a makeshift workout station. That includes a more traditional weight bench with an incline. It’s especially pertinent to those in small living spaces like condos or apartments where there isn’t much room to store a bigger machine. But as a homeowner myself, it’s appealing to me, as well. I could tuck it all away somewhere like my office away from the kids and pets when it’s not in use, or when company is over.

What else can the Innodigym P1 Plus compact workout bench do?

The P1 Plus includes integrated cables, one on each side that can be used in different configurations to achieve a host of body workouts. By itself, it’s a remarkably compact workout bench, and it’s all powered by an internal PMSM servo motor. The motor is said to be ultra quiet producing no noise during use, and looking at some of the reviews, that does seem to be the case.

Also embedded inside the system is a Bluetooth stereo speaker you can use to play music or motivational audio. No, Bluetooth speakers by themselves aren’t inherently expensive, but it’s still a pretty neat feature to have. More so if you’re tossing this thing in the trunk of your car to take on the go. There’s much less you have to carry with you.

The biggest downside worth mentioning is that the accessories and the traditional bench are sold separately. The bench is an additional $409 if you want that with your P1 Plus. There are cheaper models as well like the P1 Lite or P1 Max, they offer a lower total weight ceiling.

Who is it for?

Adults who want a compact workout bench with adjustable weight they can use at home.
