MCHOSE GX87: A custom mechanical keyboard that’s easy to disassemble
You can find a custom mechanical keyboard anywhere these days, but the MCHOSE GX87 is made of CNC aluminum and it’s super easy to disassemble — for true customization. Change the case, hot-swap the switches, change keycaps, and more.
As a writer by trade, I love mechanical keyboards. They’re clicky, offering incredible feedback, and most times it feels like you’re using a typewriter. Today’s custom mechanical keyboards offer a lot of different designs, functions, and swappable gear. But I haven’t seen many that are quite like the MCHOSE GX87, at least not when it comes to the ease of disassembly. You can break down the entire case to swap it out, including changing keycaps, with hot-swappable switches and much more. Above all, the full CNC aluminum case is durable but feels silky smooth to the touch.
There are 17 RGB backlight settings, allowing you to adjust hue, saturation, brightness, and effect speeds, and swap between the various modes. Moreover, you can remap any key on the board with open-source QMK firmware for true software customizations. There are three connectivity options, as well. You can go wired via USB, use BlueTooth wireless, or 2.4GHz wireless with a 1,000Hz polling rate in wired or wireless modes. This custom mechanical keyboard takes the experience to a whole new level.
Who is it for?
If you want full control over the design and function of your mechanical keyboards then the MCHOSE GX87 is perfect for you. There are three versions: Lite, Max, and Ultra.
