The Sylvox Frameless Outdoor TV series may not be the world’s first sets built for the great outdoors and inclement weather. But they are the “world’s first” with an ultra-narrow nearly invisible bezel for seamless viewing in the sun.

I don’t normally cover TVs here at Techigar. That’s because there are so many, and also many places you can read about them. Especially through people like Caleb Denison who know infinitely more about the tech. But this next product is both innovative and relevant to my experiences. I have a TV outdoors on my patio, but it’s a UHD crystal smart TV from Samsung — it wasn’t designed for outside. It’s fully under cover and protected from the elements so that’s not a big deal. I also cover it with a weather-proof cover when I’m not outside. When the sun shines in, the glare on the TV makes it really hard to see especially during dark scenes. There are outdoor TVs that eliminate this problem, though. The new Sylvox Frameless Outdoor TV series is the perfect example. These TVs introduce the “world’s first” ultra-narrow bezel design specifically meant for outside viewing.

Available in sizes from 43-inches up to 75-inches, it’s a 4K UHD TV series with anti-glare technology built-in, to eliminate that sun problem I was talking about, and with a 1000 to 2000 nits brightness rating. The TVs are also IP56-rated for weather resistance. They can handle extreme temperatures as cold as negative 30 degrees Celsius up to 50 degrees Celsius (-22 F to 122 F). The Frameless series also features the Google TV smart platform built-in with voice controls, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and more.

Who wants to watch a frameless outdoor TV?

Honestly, that’s kind of a silly question. Sometimes it’s nice to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air with the entertainment going. If you’re living or going off-grid, fine, avoid it. But if you want to host a backyard sports barbecue, watch some music videos, or enjoy movies with a cigar — which I do all the time — an outdoor TV is fantastic for that.

Another cool point to make about the Sylvox Frameless Outdoor TV series is that you can order them with a wall mount, rolling TV cart, or a cabinet. All of those fixtures are meant for outdoors and help integrate the TV into your stylish decor. You can even get matching outdoor soundbars, or spring for extended warranty options if you’re worried about the TVs longevity. They are new, after all.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I might be swapping out that Samsung for something more sun-friendly.

Who is it for?

Homeowners, entertainers, party hosts who want a weather-resistant and beautifully, bezel-less TV outdoors for sports, movies, and beyond.
