Impetro Gear delivers a one-of-a-kind modular backpack with four separate designs to match the activity you’re doing. They’re all purpose-built to make your life, and your outdoor adventures easier.

Usually, you need a different pack to match the activity. Sure, you could use a one-size-fits-all backpack for hiking, camping, biking, skiing, or whatever else you’re going to do. But chances are high you’ll run into a situation where it’s not working for what you want, because it’s not purpose-built for the activity you’re doing. That’s not a cop out or a marketing gimmick either. And I’m sure if you spend any amount of time outside adventuring and exploring, you get it. Sometimes you’d rather a pack be lightweight, sacrificing storage size, other times you want the maximum amount of space to carry everything and anything. So, what’s the answer? I don’t know that there necessarily is an end-all, be-all solution, but there is Impetro Gear and its modular backpack. That’s right, a fully modular pack built for adventuring first and foremost with several swappable options.

It all starts with the base unit, and from there, you have four activity specific packs to choose from: Hiking, skiing, biking, and mountaineering. You choose your pack, which is a defined size to match the activity, and off you go. These are high-quality, rugged packs that will go the distance with you — they won’t crap out after a single trip or two. Not to mention, the system is intelligently designed with X straps that don’t restrict movement and keep your shoulders free, a magnetic buckle that’s easy to clip or unclip, but secure, and a chest centered balance for better versatility and support.

How does the Impetro Gear modular backpack actually work?

The Base Unit is the common denominator for all Impetro Gear packs. That unit includes the harness and foundational attachment for all the other pack types you might choose. Then, you select one of the four options, and zip on that particular attachment to the base. To wear the pack, you tighten your harness, or adjust it to meet your body shape and you’re ready to go. If you ever want to change out your pack type, you can simply grab another attachment, unzip the one you’re using and attach the new one to the base unit.

Let’s consider the Hike Pack as a starting point. Offering 10L of storage space, it’s functional, versatile, and lightweight so it won’t bog you down on the trail. It’s also great for traveling, biking, running, and similar activities. It has a small items pocket, custom designed YKK zippers, inner compartment, water resistant design, dual water bottle mesh pockets, and it’s made of 330D N66 fabric.

The Mountain Pack is the largest at 33L. And like the other designs, it has a few upgrades to match the activity. For instance, an ice axe holder, a pole holder, rain cover and hood pocket to keep the gear inside dry and warm. You can buy the base unit and each pack individually, or buy them all together as one ultimate package, if you’re the ever-vigilant outdoor type.

Who is it for?

Outdoor adventurers, explorers, travelers and sports enthusiasts. The Impetro Gear modular pack handles it all and you can configure it for virtually anything you need.
