The Schneider OffGrid Portable Power Station 330 is a lightweight, capable, and highly efficient portable power option for nearly any scenario. Use it off-grid, at home, while on the road, or where you need power most. Pair it with a solar panel to recharge with renewable energy.

Because they’re everywhere these days, portable power stations don’t really need an introduction. They’re basically electric generators or oversized batteries, if you will. They’re excellent for off-grid living, emergencies, and anywhere you’d need portable, reliable power. If you’re in the market for one and don’t need something extra large — like what I have — you may want to consider the Schneider OffGrid Portable Power Station 330. It’s a lightweight, capable station that not only has several intuitive features but also allows you to make use of sustainable and renewable power for a reasonable cost. The Schneider 100 watt solar panel isn’t too pricey.

Back to the Schneider OffGrid PPS330, it has a 332 watt-hour capacity with a pure sine wave power output, a wireless charging pad, and four ways to recharge your devices — via multiple ports. A built-in handle, plus that compact design, makes it excellent for lugging around short distances. You can move it around your campsite, take it out of your RV, bring it into your backyard, or carry it with you around your property, to juice up some power tools, for example. An ambient LED light keeps the area illuminated, and there’s an SOS function for emergencies. Meanwhile, the LCD display shows you everything you need to know at a glance, like battery life, runtimes, and more.

Ports include DC, two AC, a 60-watt USB-C PD, three USB-A, and a car (DC) outlet. Plus, the charging pad on top allows you to drop a compatible device onto the station and let it charge up with no fussy wires. You can charge up to eight devices simultaneously thanks to the 531-watt output.

I don’t have this model from Schneider OffGrid, specifically, but I do have a power station with a similar capacity and design and I use it all the time.

Why the Schneider OffGrid PPS330 over other options?

While the brand, Schneider Electric, has won several innovation awards, I’m aware as much as you that it’s the real-world experiences that matter the most. How do its products work and do they hold up? That’s especially true of something like the Portable Power Station 330, which will be paramount during emergencies and blackouts. I’m no stranger to these scenarios myself, as living in Florida we regularly get hurricanes and big, scary storms. They don’t always cause damage but they do take down the power grid often.

The Schneider OffGrid Portable Power Station 330 is crafted to be sustainable, reliable and adaptable, all things you’ll need when it comes to gadgets such as this. Sustainable because it empowers you to make a positive impact and use renewable energy. Reliable because you can take it, and use it, anywhere, even off-grid. Finally, adaptable because you have a lot of different options at your disposal, you can charge the station itself via solar, AC, car, and USB-C, as well as access several ports to keep your devices powered on.

The 330 is the smallest format available, by the way. If you want a larger battery capacity, there are 517 watt-hour and 738 watt-hour options, as well. Both of those higher capacities share the same design, just with more power packed inside. The 730 model is actually in the featured image at the top of the article.

If none of this is selling you on the idea, I will say that I highly believe every family should have a portable power solution available in their home. Whether you build it yourself — yes, you can do that — or buy a power station, it keeps you powered on when you need the energy most. It’s always better to have something like this handy, and around, before you run into an emergency.

Who is it for?

Travelers, campers, explorers, and anyone else who needs reliable, portable power they can move around their local area. Plug in solar panels for renewable energy support, anytime.
